Dunsville Primary School

Working as one to achieve excellence through enjoyment

Headteacher - Mrs V Wilson

 Welcome Message

Welcome to Dunsville Primary School.  We are a primary school who puts the children at the heart of everything we do. We work as a team to provide the very best for our children. Our school is a warm, friendly community where all children feel safe and cared for.

In September 2019 we joined The Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Trust which formed from local like-minded primary schools joining together with Hungerhill Secondary School. In September 2020 Doncaster University Technical College became part of our Trust. We work collaboratively for the benefit of our children whilst maintaining our own individuality and ethos.

We have a knowledge based curriculum offer that provides more for the children more than the expected National Curriculum. It allows children to apply their knowledge in other curriculum areas which makes it better for them to retain the knowledge for themselves long term. Curriculum plans are included on the site for each year group.

We also put great emphasis on providing pupils with Personal Development opportunities. Whether it is having visiting speakers into school, taking part in after school clubs, going out of school on educational visits, debating in history lessons or electing our Pupil Parliament, we look to provide those opportunities. These align also to our Trust pledges which are commitment to providing a variety of opportunities to children while at our school.

By clicking on the relevant links you will discover many things about Dunsville Primary School including information about our staff and Local Governing Board.

You are able to keep your diary up to date with the Events link, and the Newsletter area contains the latest edition of 'Dunsville Times' - our termly publication which shows what the children have been up to in the previous term.

We hope you find the information contained in these pages both informative and enjoyable.

Thank you for your support.
